Local action for the National Drugs Strategy and community safety is managed by the local partnerships. In Hillingdon, this task is the responsibility of the Community Safety and Drugs Strategic Partnership (CSDSP). We are a relatively new partnership but our memberships have long standing experience of tackling community safety and substance misuse issues in Hillingdon.

"We are made up of lead members from the main local agencies that tackle drug misuse and community safety."

We are made up of lead members from the main local agencies that tackle drug misuse and community safety. These include: The local authority, education service, social services, the health authority, police service, probation service, prison service, housing service, the treatment services and the voluntary sector.

Our aim is, through partnership between agencies and the community, to make Hillingdon a safe and healthy borough by reducing and preventing crime, anti-social behaviour and the adverse effects of drug and alcohol misuse.

The CSDSP is currently developing Hillingdon's 3 year Drug Strategy and Community Safety Plan. These plans will set out how Hillingdon intends to reduce crime and the impact of drug misuse on our local communities
